Darcy Dawn is a 22 year old (born January 17, 1994) American singer- songwriter born and raised in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Darcy is the youngest of seven children and began playing music when she was 12 years old. Starting off with percussive
instruments and progressing to the guitar at age 13, by the time Darcy turned 14 she was performing locally in her hometown of Fredericksburg, getting comfortable performing and receiving the feed back that urged her to keep moving forward with music.   

Summer of 2011, at the age of 17, Darcy began busking in Historic Downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia. Giving her the opportunity to become familiar with the community, and eventually becoming a tourist attraction by being featured in the Washington Post Magazine Seasonal Sounds in December of 2012.

It wasn't until January of 2013 that Darcy Dawn began performing  around Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania as an acoustic musician. Being inspired by artists like One Republic, KiD CuDi,  and Johnny Cash, she wanted to add an assortment of musicians to her performances.  

By the beginning of 2015, the band became formally known as DarcyDawn & Company with the addition of Tony Tovar playing trombone, Kevin de Souza playing bass guitar, and Aaron Johnson on drums. The band is actively performing at ski resorts, brew festivals, wine festivals, college and corporate events across Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and Georgia while they record their first studio album.

A national touring band created by Darcy Dawn in early 2013 in Washington, D.C. .Darcy, Tony, Mike, Kevin, and Aaron are actively performing at ski resorts, brew festivals, wine festivals, college and corporate events across Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and Georgia while they work on their first studio album. Playing similar styles to artists like One Republic, Amy Winehouse, and Arctic Monkeys the band will bring you a large variety of music and a great performance.
